is here... a premium Mooching Rig. Gamakatsu is very pleased
to offer both slip tie and solid tie mooching leaders for 2002.
They are tied using 6 feet of clear premium quality and very
strong monofilament. The Slip Ties have the smaller hook in
front and the larger in the back. The Slip Tie rigs use a high
quality dacron on the front hook that allows the hook to slide
without chaffing or burning the leader. The slip tie rig allows
the angler to adjust the distance between the two hooks to accommodate
different sizes of bait. The slip tie can be tightened in place
by pulling on the tag ends of dacron. The Slip-Tie Mooching
Rigs are all tied with two sticky sharp Nickel finished hooks
for corrosion resistance and are available in nine hook size
and line size combinations. Sizes start at a 2/0, 3/0 20lb.
leader and go up to a 5/0, 6/0 40lb. leader and come packed
3 rigs per package.
The
Solid Tie Mooching Rigs are tied so that the hooks do not
slide and aren't adjustable. They're tied with 6 feet of the
same premium monofilament used on the slip ties. They are
rigged with two Gamakatsu nickel hooks with the smaller hook
on the bottom and the larger hook at the top. There are 11
sizes available, beginning with a 2/0-3/0 15lb all the way
to a 5/0-6/0 40lb. All of the mooch rigs are 3 individual
leaders per pack.
